Nineteen (19) years resident in GCC, with extensive knowledge of: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman & Qatar; Turkey; former Soviet States, CIS; & Sub-Continent, India & Pakistan.
Available to accept assignments ranging from 24 months down to 6 months. 2 years I find is the time taken to establish in region, when an office would have been established, with a local Partner, i.e. GCC national, & staffed by company personnel, hence my withdrawal at that time of maturity.
Introducing new ideas to Asset Management Industry in those countries/regions & bringing them to fruition; comically known as Frontier/Emerging markets by established markets!

Throughout my nineteen (19) years in the region I have truly found my vocation having developed business in GCC/Middle East, Jordan, Turkey, India, Pakistan, UK, USA, Mauritius, Cayman Islands, CIS within the investment sector.
• Offshoring Saudi Funds, plus opportunity for Saudi ETF.
• Established a suite of 4 Offshore Pakistan specific country feeder funds, 2007/2008.
• 2nd close of First Persian Equity Fund, June 2008.
• Conceived & launched a GCC Mutual Fund (APTF) with Daman Asset Management, Dubai; Commander Asset Management, London & Cayman Islands.

• Introduced Forsyth Funds to GCC & CIS at launch, ultimately Forsyth established in DIFC, alas now liquidated.
