I am excited to share my recent participation and contributions to the field of satellite technology and AI at the SPIE Defense and Commercial Sensing conference held in Washington D.C. from April 21st to 25th, 2024. During the conference, I had the privilege of Representing the University of Sharjah and the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences & Technology by presenting and discussing 10 research papers related to our successful Sharjah-Sat-1 satellite, which has been in orbit since 2023. These papers covered various aspects of the satellite's development, performance, and applications. I also had the opportunity to discuss our upcoming second satellite, Sharjah-Sat-2, which is scheduled for launch in Q1 2025. This new satellite will further expand our capabilities in Earth observation. In addition to the satellite-related papers, I presented research on AI and autonomous navigation, showcasing our advancements in these cutting-edge technologies. The conference provided an excellent platform to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and learn from experts in the field. One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity to meet and network with industrial partners specializing in optics and optical communication. These discussions opened up new possibilities for collaboration and innovation in the field of satellite technology.

🚀 Exciting Events at Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences & Technology! 🌌 The Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences & Technology recently had the privilege of hosting two remarkable events, further igniting our passion for space exploration and discovery. 🌟 First, we were honored to welcome Mr. Mike Gold, Chief Growth Officer at RedWire Space, for an insightful talk on space governance. Mr. Gold's expertise provided invaluable insights into the complexities and importance of governance in the realm of space exploration. His expertise illuminated the path forward for responsible and collaborative exploration beyond Earth's boundaries. 📸 Additionally, we were thrilled to unveil the opening of the captivating photography exhibition, "Beyond Earth." This mesmerizing collection offers a glimpse into the awe-inspiring beauty and wonder of our cosmos through the lens of talented photographers Such as Andrew Saunders and James Balog. Images showcased digitally remastered images from Apollo Missions and pictires of the the effects of climate change. Both of these events were made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship and attendance of the US Mission to the UAE. Their support underscores the importance of international collaboration in advancing our understanding and appreciation of space. Join me on the 14th of Feb to discuss UAE's Artemis Accords and the Future of Space Governance ! Special Thanks for the U.S. Mission to the UAE for making this event possible, looking forward towards fruitful collaborations and public outreach with the Mission.

Conducted a panel discussion titled “The Future of Space Collaboration: Preparing the Next Generation for Deep Space Exploration” to enlighten the youth about the UAE’s space aspirations and ambitions. The panel witnessed active participation from a distinguished delegation representing NASA's Gateway Program directors, the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi, and its Consulate General in Dubai. Various topics were discussed, including the significance of international space collaboration, the contributions of the UAE to the lunar space station, capacity-building, and increasing public awareness in space sciences and exploration.

It was a true pleasure working with Amideast/ UAE and Boeing as a trainer in the STEM for Sustainability program enabling youth to explore sustainability challenges in our daily lives and the aviation industry.

It was a true pleasure working with Kallman Worldwide, Inc. and AmCham Abu Dhabi to present the latest project of the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences and Technology at the Dubai Airshow. where we announced the kick-off of our 6U CubeSat launching in Q4 2024 with a 5 meters GSD hyperspectral imager offering valuable data to our partners locally and worldwide. We have also announced the establishment of our most recent laboratory called the: Rocket Propulsion and Exhaust Systems laboratory focusing of propulsion research specially in the domain of electric propulsion for spacecrafts.

A true Honor and Pleasure to assist Amideast/ UAE and Boeing in their STEM for Sustainabiliy Club and am personally proud of efforts and contributions that Boeing is initiating in the inclusion of sustainability in the aviation sector through a holistic approach targerting every aspect in the industry through public outreach, Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), and finally fuel economical aircrafts !

Recently had the opportunity to Represent the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences & Technology in the International Astronautical Congress 2023 held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Where i presented 3 research papers that highlighted Sharjah-Sat-2 and 3, the academy's future mission set to launch in Q4 2024. The papers discussed mission design and analysis, offering valuable insights into the project and industry trends.
